9th March 2017 is the launch of part of our brand new project funded by Sport England. This includes a set programme for our members to increase their physical activity. Each person will have a personalised logbook to keep a track record of their progress, the first part will be held at the newly built Workington Leisure Centre 11am-12pm

CHOICES Cumbria- Choices is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund it is a programme intended to help individuals in Allerdale and Copeland reach their potential, whether that be into training, job searching or employment.

We understand that everyone's story is different so Groundwork NE & Cumbria and 11 specialised organisations (including ourselves) have teamed up to offer; One-to-one support guidance & advice, training and courses to help you improve your life skills and give you valuable experiences and specialist advice on health and well-being, finances, benefits

Allotment Project

Based at Flimby and funded by Tesco Bags of Help, the project provides therapeutic and productive activity for our members. We also aim to provide resources for the local food bank and flowers for local care homes.


Emotional and Practical Flood Support Drop-in               

Talking to people who have had a similar experience or who share similar feelings can be a massive support. Mind in West Cumbria and the Red Cross are joining forces in a series of Drop-ins across West Cumbria to provide; emotional support, entitlement to resilience and other grants, completion of application form and advice and guidance.                            Keswick- Quaker Meeting House, every Friday 1pm-2.30pm Cockermouth- Lorton Street Methodist Church, every Tuesday 1pm-2.30pm                                              Workington/Maryport- Coming Soon
